Hi, I am Bren.

Through the years I have been approached by many asking for my help with creative ideas from decorating, party planning, gardening, make-up & hair and even career advice.  I am known as the "other" Martha and I am multi-talented.  Believe it or not I can even sing a little.

I don't consider myself a designer but rather an artist.  My creative style leans towards a Sophisticated Tuscan Tropic.  The  warm climate, water elements, vibrant flowers and colors engage relaxation and comfort.  I believe ones home should reflect ones soul and inspire creativity and relaxation.  

 As an artist I always try to inspire an emotion or feeling.  I don't adhere to any specific rules or design type, and I truly make up my own rules. My designs and ideas are something that can elicit a single thought or feeling such as simplicity or strength, love or pain and the composition simply flows from my heart and soul.   I don't have a specific color scheme but rather allow myself to be free to express myself in any medium and color scheme, using any number of methods to convey my message. So as an artist I don't ever have to explain why I did something a certain way other than that this is what I felt at that moment. It is my understanding that design in the commercial sense is a very calculated and defined process; the elements are discussed and implemented taking careful steps to make sure the objectives of the project are met. A designer is similar to an engineer in that respect and must not only have an eye for color and style but must adhere to very intricate functional details that will meet the objectives of the project. The word design lends itself to hint that someone or something has been carefully created and much planning and thought has been executed to produce the materials used for the project.
